Mapping each cube with five projection stacks. We put on a two hour Keynote Presentation, Awards Ceremony & Company Party Mapped and cue’ed live. Building the effects, setting up & cue’ing the event, I was there from conception to tear down.
Building Projection Mapping | Proof of Concept - Production Plus
We took a half-a-day and put together this quick projection mapping concept using Cinema 4D, After Effects, and MadMapper. This was just a concept, but we hope to implement it in the future.
Hologram Illusion | Technical Demo - Production Plus
This technique was first shown to me by Chris Morris, so I need to give him credit for this. We took it one step farther here at Production Plus and went from print to video. As you can see in the video, this technique has everything to do with perspective and angle. For future test we will use a darker room, higher resolution projector, and a brighter projector. Also a new different surface might help.
MadMapper MadLight - Proof of Concept
We are testing out the new features of MadMapper 1.4 and MadLight. Using a MacBook Pro running MadMapper, an Enttec OpenDMX Ethernet, two DMX512 Decoders, and a couple of strans of RGB chipped LEDs. We created our first test, what you see here. We also have a basic Sanyo 1280x800 project for projecting onto our rounded surface thanks to MadMapper. None of the visuals are our own, they where found on Youtube for testing purposes.
